We are in desperate need of defensive re-enforcements. At least one centre back (preferably two) and a left back/wing-back.
I don't mind MJ Williams in a back three, I think he helps us retain posession, but he's not a natural centre half so struggles in a back four. If we play a back four I wouldn't mind him sitting in front of them. Camps is wasted deep in midfield, and some would suggest he's a passenger wherverer he plays at the moment. |  | | |

I made a point of watching MJ from a bit closer on Tuesday being in the main stand for a change - give him space on the ball and he's fine, there is no doubt he can pass a ball - but his mobility is a real worry for me, he struggled any time he had to turn or try and keep up with anyone running. I do think he has major issues with his knees - which has been a problem in the past. If you get chance watch City's 3rd goal on YouTube and you can notice MJ limping quite badly as he is running. | |

One of McGahey’s biggest attributes was good recovery pace. We look in trouble anytime anyone breaks on us now, making McGahey’s sale even more mystifying as it left us with three central defenders who all seem to struggle when not part of a five man defence. |  |
