Tonight’s Game 06:44 - Mar 12 with 2627 viewsIOMDale

Is it available to purchase and stream for £10, like the Wimbledon game was?

It should be, I think all midweek games are.

It is, but if you get yourself a good VPN you can watch almost all the games under your iFollow subscription.

I think Accrington away (Saturday) is one of the few you can’t watch.

Thanks a lot for the replies, don’t often get the chance to watch Tuesday night games; got off to an auspicous (sarcasm) start with Wimbledon!

I was at Gigg for that too - nearly a year since our last midweek win. Let's not make it to our anniversary.

Once you have purchased a match day pass do you access the I follow through the Rochdale Fc official website?

May give this a go tonight

Any advice for someone (me) that knows nothing about VPN's and how they work?

YOU do not have the right to give someone else permission to tell me what I can and can't do.

Exactly that - just go the match centre and the live stream will be there, ready to play.

Basically DD, it acts as a firewall so that you can browse privately but for the purposes of streaming 'Dale games, VPNs allow individual users to 'spoof'their physical location, so you can appear to be browsing from America, for example. This way, the EFL site would recognise you as being abroad and you could purchase a season pass to watch (almost) every game.

I can't believe that this loophole won't eventually be closed off, but not astute enough to know if there is a tech fix for the EFL. VPNs are free and anyone can do it. I think it may slow down the streaming a little but good on anyone who does it. Always nice to get one over …….

Up the Dale - NOT for sale!
Poll: Is it coming home?

Cheers. So as a subscriber to ifollow already I can do as you suggest or would also have to buy a further pass?

have you got a Season Pass? I've got the UK season pass (watch interviews, highlights etc) but would need to fork out extra for the overseas pass. At this stage of the season, it's probably cheaper to buy individual games and then look at buying an overseas pass for next season, though if somebody else knows better, please do correct us.

That's correct. But also see the posts about getting a VPN. I paid for mine and have had no issues. Some of the free ones are unreliable.

I used AVGs VPN and found that not only could I not access the live games, but all other content was blocked too. When I clicked on the help link, they told me I was blocked for using a VPN but would turn it back on if I deactivated the VPN

That’s unfortunate. You’ll forgive me for not broadcasting the VPN I use, for that reason.

Most of the really popular VPNs such as Nord are basically useless if you want to spoof your location - this website even blocks some UK nord servers.
iFollow seem to be more interested in preventing their customers doing things like cast from their mobile device to the telly (something BT, Eleven and other apps encourage), than they are providing a good service. One of their extra genius things in my experience is if you have a UK account and try to get a live stream, even with a good VPN, it’ll block it. Obviously easily solved by creating another free account, but it’s annoying. In fact the entire company is annoying and customer hating, I assume they have a total monopoly on this because no company with possible competitors would act like them.
