I don't want this to stir up the embers or have another go at Hill- it probably will- a second consecutive MOM for Nthle says something. Would he even have been on the bench under the previous manager? all the more perplexing given the defensive shambles over the last eighteen months

This is not the time for bickering.

Can anyone remember when we last had a reliable defensive LB?
We even had McNulty there for a spell a few years ago.

Dean Stokes.....

I would say Kevin Formby but really he was a left winger converted to a left Back.....

Agree he's not always shown the flair we have seen in the last two games however to say he has not got the brain is a bit harsh. It's clear he is growing in confidence and experience and hopefully he will go on to greater things. Andy Lonergan was full of prise for the youngster in his interview.

He’s 25 years old. You’re talking about him like he’s 18 and just come through.

Leader of the little gang of immature cretins.

Is it? I’ve seen him in some abysmal games. Really seems to struggle with positioning.

The people getting offended have short memories.

You said he has no brain, tbf that is pretty offensive. Surely, has been v inconsistent covers it better

More importantly Sweetcorn, why are you putting an apostrophe in Nthle? And why are we all spelling it Nthle when it's Ntlhe?

Is he related to Calvin Andrews as well?

Or Reece Bennett?

When I was your age, I used to enjoy the odd game of tennis. Or was it golf?

I rated Stokes defensively as well. But Alan Goodall is probably the more recent. Agree with the mentions of Todd as well.

Rose and TK were both good all round balanced left backs not specifically great at defending but could defend as well as contribute further forward.

Ntlhe had another belting game yesterday.

Well played and lets take this small upturn in form into Gillingham on Saturday.

Nlithe is in my humble opinion, not a fullback, but plays more like a midfielder and I would use him in that role in the future, because he can both attack with pace, pass the ball well and also can be used in a defensive midfield role as well.
