Mmm, only another 16 million votes to go to try and undo a DEMOCRATIC vote. I voted leave , but never expected to leave, with the arch remainer in charge. Mother Theresa spent the whole of the leave campaign hiding behind her sofa and never uttering a word on the subject. It seems to me after nearly 3 years someone said oh we are leaving at the end of March Any one got an old fag packet we will write a couple of ideas down.
We are cursed in this country with extremely low grade politicians, gutless, clueless & useless.

Why didn’t we send Boris...Rees Mogg and Farage over to negotiate..I doubt they would have got a better deal.

The Leave campaign was built on lies.
The Remain campaign was built on naivety.
If the Leave campaign had been honest and said they didn't know the impact of leaving, but hoped it would provide x,y and z, they wouldn't have got the backing that they did. So they lied, and many people fell for it.
If the Remain campaign had said the price of the iPhone is going to go up, and it might cost £10 for a visa to visit Benidorm, the likes of Mercedes from Belfield would have easily identified with that and realised her Little Englander attitude shouldn't get in the way of common sense.
It's been a farce since day one. Those who voted Remain are seeing the lies unravel day by day, and those who voted Leave are seeing the same things but don't want to lose face by admitted they fell for the lies hook, line and sinker. There's so shame in that, and those people aren't on their own, in fact you're in a majority! It's ironic really, the Leave campaign are (rightly) arguing that this was a democratic vote, yet the only way the lies could be passed as policies would be under a dictatorship that denies rights to some of the people.
Don't blame May either. She might come across as a useless negotiator or leader, but the task that's been put in front of her by the so will of the people is a joke.

I voted to leave and I was aware meant leaving the customs union and single market, the remain campaign made it clear as well that what a vote to leave meant. It is an example of the remain camp not accepting the result, like the undemocratic EU. Every time the EU loses a referendum, they get the people to vote again or just ignore the result ans carry on as if nothing as happened.
I cannot understand why people want o remain in an organisation, which is so undemocratic and treats the people of Europe with utter contempt. I do not want to become a forced citizen of the United States of Europe. I would rather be poor and free, then poor and enslaved in an undemocratic EU. |  | | |

Also what is so inherantly wrong with the customs union? Literally every single country in the world has some form of customs union with their direct neighbours. It enables strength in trade negotiations through forcing other countries to obey by the larger trading's blocks rules and regulations. There is a reason why the Trump named not Russia or China his greatest foe, but the EU. This is because as a united bloc we have more leverage than the US. This fact is a truly remarkable accomplishment considering how divided Europe a century ago and it makes me feel proud that we are a major part of that. Countries around the world are licking their lips at the thought of a stranded UK with no trade deals coming begging for one without the leverage we enjoyed in the bloc. I don't understand what we serve to gain from 'creating our on laws' either. We 'win'/accept 95% of the laws that vote on in the EU Council, with us only having to implement <2% of laws we voted against (mostly tax avoidance actually surprise surprise when we have lots of UKIP/Tory MEPs liek Farage representing us).
