Coming up in a couple of weeks to spread Dad's ashes over Knowl Hill. Looking for B&B or pub in Rochdale area 7th and 8th June with 2 or 3 room. Will only be sleeping there so cheaper the better.

I was going to suggest Fernhill B&B at lanehead as it is quite beautiful in summer. But it is full
I always stay at the Norton Grange but again you need to book early for a Saturday because it is full with weddings at weekends.

Sorry for your loss mate, while the flyer is a good boozer I wouldn’t want to stay there given your circumstances as you won’t get a decent nights sleep or the peace and quiet you would want. If staying just outside of Rochdale doesn’t bother you I would recommend the red lion in whitworth. |  | | |

Cheers rr. Dad died in January so well past the bereavement stage, we were just waiting till decent weather for the trek up the hill.
We are actually looking for an entertaining weekend so The Flyer may not be bad. Looked on their site but couldn't see any prices. Will wait for any more ideas before giving them a ring. | |

Uppermill is a long way out. The bulls head on Halifax Rd advertises b+b for £25. I also believe the old sand knockers pub is air bnb apartments aswell |  | | |
