More likely that a total lack of " senior" goalkeeping cover for Mignolet means a well paid holiday to the States as the only cover for Mignolet is probably a youth scholar with other keepers having been involved at summer tournaments

They've just let a keeper go to Huddersfield on a season long loan but I agree it's a strange signing.
The nearest he'll get to the first team is probably on the bench in the Carabao Cup understudying Mignolet.
There are a few experienced keepers earning good money this way - Robert Green was at Chelsea last season.

They've just let a keeper go to Huddersfield on a season long loan but I agree it's a strange signing. The nearest he'll get to the first team is probably on the bench in the Carabao Cup understudying Mignolet. There are a few experienced keepers earning good money this way - Robert Green was at Chelsea last season.

Have they actually signed him or as I suspect just taking him on tour of USA for cover and then when he returns he will be looking for a club
