I was a bit disappointed that we couldn't manage 3,000 home fans for the first home game of the season when we had won the first game. The weather definitely wouldn't have helped....but as they haven't told us the final season ticket count we will never know whether the new pay on the day policy is having an impact.

The Trust have committed to monitoring the impact of the new pricing policy here: Trust Quiz Night - Wednesday by Dale_Trust 15 Jun 2019 14:57The Dale Trust are hosting it’s annual Quiz Night at the Flying Horse pub on Wednesday 19th June — 8pm.
Entry to the quiz is free of charge to everyone. The quiz will be in your usual Pub Quiz style, with one round dedicated purely to all Dale matters, so please feel free to bring family and friends with you.
Plus we have special guest on the evening, as we are proud to announce the quizmaster will be Mike Minay from BBC Radio Manchester Sport.
The event will also see the opportunity to join the Trust, for the forthcoming 2019-20 season.
Free food will be provided for all those taking part in the quiz.
Everyone welcome!
http://daletrust.co.uk There were 2485 season tickets sold by the end of June (it was 2576 at the same stage last year). Mixed messages? by Yorkshire_Dale 30 Jun 2019 14:58Twitter says ticket office closed at 2pm......but an early thread on same says 4pm?
Give us a clue
Oh and.....What are final "Early Bird" ST figures please? The final figures for both seasons can be established by the Trust as part of the monitoring process and included in the minutes of their regular meetings with the club. As mentioned previously, you would think the first chance to take a good look at how this pricing policy is affecting HOME fans would be after the first four home matches, which will have seen two category A games (Doncaster and Blackpool) and two category B (Sunderland and Ipswich). For further comparison, the first home game last season was against Peterborough after a good away win at Burton the previous week. The crowd was 3693; 3128 home fans and 565 away fans. But the weather was a bit better!

Isn't August this year the same as last year? !! Possibly the Feel Good event made a difference, plus the already-mentioned weather [Post edited 11 Aug 2019 10:04]

Aye, I think that needs to be taken into account if looking at a match-by-match analysis. Any like for like Saturday games coming up soon? I can't remember who we played and on what day last season...

Definitely worth considering, as are the other factors like time of year/price as TVOS posted elsewhere.

To satisfy my inner bean counter I’d also like to know how our away attendances have been affected since cheap STs were rolled out. In my mind more ST = less pay on the day fans and should mean more money to spend on away games.

I'd be surprised if that's how fans work out their football finances, but maybe one or two do? Too many other factors come into play, such as proximity of away fixtures, weekend/midweek, etc. If they do, they might want to keep quiet about it, since it'd be putting money into other clubs rather than Dale, which might not be viewed favourably by those making ST pricing decisions

Distance and what else non football related is going on was/is my primary factor in deciding what away games to go to.

Barring re-scheduled matches following postponements, we have no evening league fixtures scheduled after 5 Nov against Ipswich But your point will also apply to bitterly cold Saturday afternoon games unless the team can be developed to provide 90 minutes of sustainable competence

Are Hill and Flitcroft doing photos as part of the deal? [Post edited 4 Oct 2019 13:55]
