I wouldnā€™t touch any of them, to be honest.

Jai Quitongo a few years ago was fast, strong and skilful. A nightmare to mark or defend against. Peterborough and Doncaster bid for him and Morton turned them down. Quitongo then got injured and was out for a good while. He didnā€™t come back anywhere near the same player. Morton were going to stick by him but he refused to sign a new deal and ended up at... Partick! Last seen in Iran.

The real interesting name on that list is Islam Faruz. Signed by Chelsea and touted as Scotlandā€™s answer to Messi. A classic case of being given everything before achieving anything, sadly.

Tanner Iā€™ve seen more than most, given a family link I have with Motherwell presently. Injuries aside, he always looked decent. I thought he was Bolton bound, but it didnā€™t happen.

Tanner doesn't sound like a full shilling?

I did wonder if this might happen last night by one of our lads?

At least you get to see some action in the TDS!

I can't remember the last time something remotely exciting happened in front of the Sandy.

Undoubted knowledge? Or just the application of common sense and using my brain?

I would use Pyke down the middle, he as the build to cause problems for defenders and seems wasted on the wing, which seemed to be role at the moment. We played very well in the first half, but lacked the ability to score and make the game safe, but if we play like we did in the second half at Old Trafford next Wednesday, we will get stuffed.

What does worry me, in that with Magloire going back to Blackburn due to his injury and Delaney at Wimbledon until January, combine this with McLaughlin on-going injury, we are a bit short at the back . It makes you wonder with Delaney going out on loan, BBM would have signed somebody on loan before the deadline, to ensure that we have enough cover for all emergencies.

We also need an additional goal scorer, because it is obvious problem that as not been addressed for some reason in the summer.

In fairness Stevie May that fitz mentioned a few years back was hot property, but was very unlucky with a knee injury and did little in the championship here, or tbh when he went back to Aberdeen.

I follow it a bit and occasionally ask fitz for his opinion on players, there are players with potential their and are not always as much on the radar as some in the English lower leagues.

Having said that there is Marc Twaddle!!!

In fairness, Fitz knows I'm not referring to anything like that.

4 home league games:
Doncaster - Should've won but let them equalise by sitting back for too long.
Lincoln - Should've won but let them equalise by sitting back for too long.
Sunderland - Robbed.
Blackpool - got away with a draw.
Still no home league win in 4 and 2 gimmes thrown away by the same tactical decisions.

We play some lovely stuff first half, get worked out, pressured, and become all weak and feeble. Repeat. Repeat.

There is enough in this squad to stay up but the floundering late on in games is reminiscent of a Hill bad run. We can't sit back and defend a lead late on in games. It's obvious to our fans. It's obvious to the opposition.
Please BBM recognise it, and get it sorted. The League table is catching up with our weaknesses.

The one chorus of booing I heard in The Sandy when we were winning was a disgrace. Walter Joyce, Barrowball, Steve Eyre (sorry FRMSE), this team is a million miles better than any of those. Not perfect but not dire at all. Nowt a few tweaks and lessons from mistakes won't cure.

BBMBA

And last night Doncaster conceded a time-added goal.

Maybe at Fleetwood it'll be Dale's turn to score a late winner ...

i just hope we don't see a tepid performance this Sat with the Utd game being next week..for most of our players the united match will be the biggest game of their careers

It's my worry TBH. Can't blame players for having one eye on Wednesday and hoping not to get injured. Biggest game of their career for most of them

But then the flip side is you'd imagine the players will want to put in a performance to get into the side on Wednesday.

Exactly this, if I was BBM I'd use it to motivate them, tell them, whoever doesn't pull their weight or is deemed to not be putting full effort in on Saturday will not feature on Wednesday.

I understand your thought..however BBM would be foolish to punish any of his squad by removing them from the Utd game..we just don't have a big squad to start with let alone causing any upset.

BBM has been a player himself..i fully expect 50/50 challenges to be viewed with caution by all our players on Sat..and I don't blame them at all..i expect an aggressive approach to the game by Fleetwood just to unsettle our players
