Travelling to Oxford by car? 07:19 - Oct 23 with 2348 views

Just a heads up. There are major road works planned for this weekend on the A34 west of Oxford. The signposted route to the Kassam. Southbound it will be single lane and was taking 45 minutes+ to get through last weekend. Northbound has a full closure. That means traffic is diverted round the east side, so the alternative route will be very busy as well.
Allow yourself a bit of time and check the sat nav for the fastest (least slow) route.

I hope the team coach and official supporters coach read this and give themselves at least an extra 45 mins.

I assume the players will go down on Friday.

Despite notices to the contrary, the A34 appears to be open this morning with no roadworks. I'd like to say enjoy the extra time in Oxford, but the Kassam is not a place to be enjoyed, especially in the wind and rain
