So why did we have to play a match only 48 hours after the Wrexham game. More to the point, why was the cup tie moved to Sunday?

Well happier with the second half display albeit two teams that knew they had nowt to play for

Just 761 there - 65 daleys

I thought the second half was a bit of a non event, albeit I might've missed summat when I nodded off for a while. Thought our best period was the final 20 mins of the first half, as well as the 2 goals we actually played with some attacking intent.

Very difficult to gauge the performances given the level of opposition, levels of motivation, etc. but was reasonably impressed with Dunne. A lot of the youngsters showed some nice touches but still look lightweight and some way off challenging for a first team place.

Well done to all who travelled, though the figure of 65 surprises me. From the pictures there appeared to be a group of no more than 20-30 Daleys in the stand behind the goal, though I guess there could've been more elsewhere. Top effort.

They were in the side stand. Think it was Bradford’s lowest ever crowd.

Good game time and competition experience for the young uns
Bradley, Hopper, Tavares and in particular Joe Dunne. One for the future eh.
BBM is developing well.

I was watching the Harrogate v Pompey match on BT Sport last night. The game kicked off nearly an hour late due to a power outage so they had ample time to run through the weekends games....I think our game was the only one they didn't show anything of, was it really that bad?

Bradford wouldn't move the game to Wednesday.

We weren't behind the goal; we were down to the left below the camera.

Right, thanks. There was definitely a small group huddled together right at the back of the top tier behind the goal. They didn't look like stewards/ballboys, I just assumed they were Dale fans.

Probably not a mainstream opinion, but I do wish we’d put more stock in the EFL Trophy.

Let’s be honest, it’s the only national trophy we have a realistic chance of winning and, despite its yearly progression into tinpottery, it’d be nice to have a national trophy in the cabinet. It would also be major kudos for the manager who delivers it, as well as generating decent PR for the club with it being a ‘first’.

I get the argument about blooding youth and the league being more important, but, at current trajectory, what are our ultimate ambitions? I’d say we can forget about promotion for a decent while.

So, is barely surviving in League One all we’re about now? It may well be, so let’s have a go at winning something while we cling on to our League One status.

It would also be nice to visit Wembley again and see what weather conditions it has in store for us next. After monsoon rain v Stockport and snow v Tottenham we are due a heatwave.

Good finish from Pyke. Hopefully that gives him a bit more confidence as I do think his recent turgid performances have been down to a lack of confidence rather than a dearth of skill or effort.

Looking at Lynch's saves last night, and his overall displays whilst Sanchez was out, i'd have no qualms about him as a long-term prospect

Sanchez has extra presence and perhaps a touch of real class so is rightly back in now fit, but at least we're well-covered in one position

My only worry with Lynch is his height. Yes he is a great shot stopper and some of his saves look spectacular (but is that because of his size)? Would a tall keeper like Sanchez save them more comfortably? Also we had started to concede from a few corners with Lynch - Sanchez seemed to punch a fair few corners away from goal (again his height is a big factor). I like Lynch but like Neil Edward's there are just some things he wont be capable of because of his lack of inches.

Get what you're saying but Pickford and Banks are both 3cm shorter according to Wiki. So size isn't everything?
