It's a dangerous game "playing for time" with a fragile lead from the 8th minute and more so with our (now weakened with McShane off) proper dodgy defence. |
I don’t think we are playing for time, merely that it passes the time. We were even doing it before we scored. There’s so few passes going forward. Compare it to Tranmere away when we were employing the same set up but everything looked to move up the pitch.
Whatever you think about the rights or wrongs of the crowd getting frustrated, the reason for it is totally avoidable. |  |

Another £15 "saved" tonight, could have easily gone too but this "part timer" thought a better idea was to stay at home.
BBM is trying to produce a team with his hands tied behind his back with a blindfold on, just how we've gone from Tranmere away to this current tedious crap is beyond me, he needs to chill out with these dodgy coaching courses they all seem to go on,it's doing him/us no favours at all, leave the possession football to teams that have the players capable. Perhaps BBM will only be able to strengthen our squad if we have the prospect of income from the more lucrative rounds of the FA Cup
I didn't witness how poor our performance was tonight, but can well imagine. We need to start seeing something different at home, beginning this Saturday, but at least we still have a season left and the possibility of games such as v Spurs and v Man U. In the light of those, we have cup positivity in the bank which two games against struggling but determined non-league opposition doesn't cancel out, imo | |
