Player of the year 20:36 - Jun 5 with 4792 viewsDaleEdchup

Good evening chaps.

Seeing as the season is likely to end in the next few days, who are we all voting for as our player of the year?

I’d have to vote for Hendo once again although I appreciate the efforts of Norrington-Davies and O’Connell. Two superb signings.

Cheers

Ryan Lowe.

Not a fan of him because of his Bury affiliations and he can’t be counted as our player of the year because he didn’t play.

What impressed you the most about Norrington-Davies? The fact he’s relevant at the moment as there’s a current thread about him on here or a certain aspect of his play?

Maybe I was quick to criticise 442dale now I see the connection in your answer. That made me chuckle.

Suppose it’s just something we’ve just not been used to since Bunney. I must admit I was warming to Nthle until he left but playing Done at left back just didn’t seem to work understandably. Just think he’s had a very good season given his age

Sorry I forgot to sign off.

I’d have to go for either Keithh or MrBistow.

But Ryan Lowe claims a lot of things he didn't do.

When I was your age, I used to enjoy the odd game of tennis. Or was it golf?

Keithh is a goodun for a bury fan tbf.

It’s got pops written all over it. Again.

Why are you so keen to understand why I admire the qualities of Norrington- Davies? I think he has had a good season. He is willing to get forwards and not afraid to put a delivery into the box. I am glad I’ve been able to see him because I am sure he will go on to better things. Do you not agree?

I just thought it strange when you mentioned left backs that you omitted one that was here as recently as last season. He was head and shoulders above Bunney imo. What do you reckon?

“ He is willing to get forwards and not afraid to put a delivery into the box.”

What, like a left back?

Sorry Kel, I was meaning the Bunney that got to witness a few years back. We all loved him then didn’t we. In regards to your latest post about that being what we expect from a left back, that’s hardly what we got from Nthle or Done playing there! ND has been a breath of fresh air this season.

DaleEdChup (78)

PS who is your player of the year then?

Henderson by a country mile.

So, am I to assume that you think Bunney was better than the left back you failed to mention because if that’s the case then I disagree.

Get googling, son.

You forgot your ‘cheers’ btw. The mask is slipping...

You are more than welcome to disagree. I Can’t say I agree with you though. In Bunney’s first spell he was superb and I stand by that.

I feel like you have something against me so nothing to thank you for.

I don’t recall asking for any thanks but it wasn’t necessary anyway. I don’t contribute for gratitude.

Now, as we’re deep in conversation, I’ll ask for the third time. Which stand do you go in m8?

Hendo has to be up there but O'Connell for me as well.

Young player is easy in Luke. Looking forward to seeing Morley become a real mainstay though.

I have started to post on here because it is something for me to do in the circumstances we are all in. I am not sure what relevance the stand I am in has to you. I sit in the main stand when I am in attendance. Now I am not sure what I have done to offend you but I would prefer it if we could chat nicely and that’s all I ask.

It has to make you wonder why O’Connell was not wanted elsewhere doesn’t it!

Me too, when I attend. Which block? We could chat nicely at the game if you’d prefer.

In regards to offending me, then you’re mistaken. I never get offended by things posted on an internet message board but I do enjoy it when a wum appears as it gives my sad little life a bit of a boost. I enjoy the back and forth stuff even though I’d imagine it bores onlookers.

You were sussed in your very first post, flower, just like others before you. Now I’m just having a play around with you until you disappear for another few months. Sad I know but I’ve nowt better to do at the moment.

I would say he was wanted elsewhere. Trouble is he also wanted paying. For that, you need money. Oh.

Up the Dale - NOT for sale!

Hendo runner up for me this year behind O'Connell. Agree with Luke as best young player
