Latest tweet from the club..

No COVID-19 'offside traps' for @officiallydale! We are proud to be working with the Dale to develop a COVID Secure Procedure & RA's; a challenge due to their many community links but layouts for safe routes in the numerous buildings & offices are now in place. 'Back of the net'!

Wonder how much that is costing us?

Strange the club has taken a loan from RBC, new pitch, barcode entry system etc... Spending it like Beckham me thinks ...

All businesses are having to look at these things now and it’s mandatory in most cases. Surely it’s a good thing they’ve got this in place? It’s not about the cost, it’s essential.

Somewhat disagree sorry...

If your in a desert & need a drink, you would pay whatever they asked...

Not like shops, pubs or barbers who have been given the green light (unless you live in Leicester) It’s a good few months away from a new season, things could change in a day, week, month or never... sounds like a knee jerk reaction or ambulance chasing to me..

Please justify your criticism of a business for making the workplace Covid safe for its employees.

Regarding the spending. Do you think we got the loan then decided to get a new pitch and a new ticketing system? Have a day off. These things are planned months, sometimes years in advance.

People have to work at Spotland in the meantime; office staff, cleaners will go in and clean etc. They may be looking to be open facilities for conferences/meetings in the stand or the Ratcliffe.

It is most definitely necessary for any business to adapt as soon as they possibly can. Who knows the details, there could be further contingencies in place when more information comes out around fans returning to games.

Businesses have to conduct a health and safety risk assessment and share the results with employees and visitors.

Not sure if mandatory or advisory, but even the latter is good practice.

The cash flow issue is separate to good practice H&S

Poll: What is it to be then?

It is mandatory and has to be published on a firms website too depending on the size of the firm.

Not exactly a kings ransom.

Local business, very proactive in offering H&S advice to other local businesses for free during the pandemic.

All companies have a legal duty to ensure the health, safety and welfare of all employees and visitors. This just forms part of the exercising of that duty

Ok Fair Enough..

Apologies to all above who replied & I was wrong and jumped to conclusions.

I know we have a contract cleaning company who come in daily & then a deep clean at weekends at work & it’s costing us about £10k a week. I had visions of it being 10 times that for the Club in some stories I have heard.
