If fans aren't back in the grounds at the start of next season, football will be the least of our worries. Most clubs at our level will be bust at that point. Indeed I have no real idea why the EFL didn't abandon this season too, all they have achieved is the impoverishment of clubs and the long term unemployment of dozens if not 100s players. The men in blazers have proved to be useless once again and their financial support package was utterly biased towards clubs with the largest attendances, no wonder Bottomley seems to be in awe of them, lets hope he has spotted his next job opportunity. | | | |
