Saw something on twitter where Premier League teams are converted from squad numbers to the days of 1-11.

We’ll be doing a few of these every week. Happy to take requests and feel free to disagree!

Rules: a player wearing any number 1-11 keeps that and others starting with a higher number have to convert it to those numbers left available. It’s probably a bit more weird than sock turnover colours, but it may create debate. Probably not.

Yes, it’s for entertainment. Mine. The twitter account shows it in much better light as they have kit graphics and who doesn’t like kit graphics?

Others may wish to have an opinion once we start using more players with higher squad numbers. I won’t actually be telling Dale to wear 1-11, but they should be.

It’s a good thread of kits. Wish we’d look more at other designs and think whether it’d suit our colours. Hopefully this will be capitalised on with the review of suppliers as mentioned at the forum.

Maybe it was 37 I remember glancing at it and thinking that's a high number! Thought I saw 87 but 37 seems more reasonable. Do all players on YTS and the U16s get preliminary first team squad numbers assigned or only when they come to be in a first team squad?
