Now that we finally have a fans representative in the boardroom it becomes even more important what is posted on the forum, especially if it’s something that is official club business but is yet to be announced. At no stage can we jeopardise the integrity of the the fans rep because we have fought too hard to get to where we are now. I don’t think for minute Murray would ever do anything like that but it’s down to us all to not compromise the arrangement we have now in any way. The Chairman and Directors are now running a multi million pound business, if anything was being leaked out of their own business prior to a important announcement they would be livid. We’ve had enough inside weasels over the years bigging themselves up by disclosing confidential information. | | | |

There’s one still at the club who I certainly wouldn’t trust, especially the way they also conduct themselves in their personal life with their lies and slyness. And it still doesn’t sit right with me where Roger distributed a small number of shares to just before the infamous EGM. Roger doesn’t do nice so there will have a been a reason where he benefitted from it in some way. | | | |

Yep it looks like it was from a family member.... probably a quick lesson in being wary of reading / using fan forums if you're close to players / staff.
There was another spat I saw earlier this week between a fanpage on twitter and a player's agent (I think Odoh's?) - nobody comes off well out of that kind of stuff.
FWIW it was well into the public domain last night before appearing on here so this one was probably fair game.
As to Kel's point, I agree on one person within the club still being an issue. Not sure if its the same person, but sadly the one I am thinking of has become more prominent again in recent weeks with new activities assigned to him. |  | | |

I have been guilty of reporting transfers in the past - once I knew they were confirmed, of course - but that was during a pandemic when times were unprecedented.

You're posting your own opinions but not under your own name. The problem is if you act like a prat you don't embarrass yourself, you embarrass the club.
Given the transition of power at the club, there's always going to be questions about allegiances. There's a couple who concern me and a couple who don't. That's true of a lot of Dale fans, and we aren't all concerned about the same ones. | |

I’m confident we now have a professional boardroom who won’t allow the place to become like a cozy boys club, no free loaders etc. As fans we don’t need to know the ins and outs of everything that is going on, especially things where confidentiality is required, we don’t all have a need to be best buddies with those running the club neither. Trust those in the boardroom to do the best for our football club even if we might not agree with certain decisions and also realise that they will get some decisions wrong along the way, that’s to be expected. As we said last year, at least we are no longer worried about what’s going on behind the scenes and we know that the right financial decisions will be being made for the right reasons. Anybody found leaking confidential information can be removed from the club pretty easily now. [Post edited 12 Aug 2022 16:28]

I doubt those pictures would have been taken before signing. It's more likely that the club's nose has been put out of joint a bit, so they're holding back a few days before announcing officially.
To be fair, in RS's pre-match interview released yesterday, he said he was expecting to be picking from the same set of players.
In light of Ryan Lowe's comments on signing players, something along the lines of "we don't sign knobheads", it would be a very tough stance by the club if they have pulled the deal because of a leaked photo. The family member in question won't be popular either way, I wouldn't have thought.
