although Bently in general has sorted out the defense & defending corners, that goal is a howler. They score direct from the corner without anyone going for it.

Finished 1-0. Probably a marginal improvement in the second half, primarily because they were holding on to their lead rather than attacking. With Colchester & harrogate winning, we have dropped right back into the mire.

Come the end of January and the end of the transfer window, I can see some new faces coming in and some of the crap seeking new fields to explore. I will imagine Malley, Tulloch will be sent back (if possible) and others loan out.

We’ve got the club’s highest ever scorer and Quigley who most agree will get goals (has one in two record for us). Didn’t see the game and we may well have missed chances but the issue previously has been consistently creating them and putting teams on under enough pressure. |  |

Familiarly dire. Poor game with the only difference being that Sutton managed to deliver a dangerous set piece that we couldn't defend. All our set piece deliveries are floaty with no whip and easy to clear. That's how many games are decided at this level and we're always on the wrong end of it. | | | |

We have the all time leading goal scorer of the club & Scott Quigley at the club.
If we can find a way for those two to create some sort of partnership there is undoubted quality & goals there.
The issues lay behind them for me. Ball is absolutely awful. Nowhere near the standard required. Rodney offers little, Odoh flatters to deceive and Sinclair looks good, occasionally.
Can Brierley and Diagouraga play regularly in a midfield 2? Could Keohane drop into a midfield 3 and be replaced by Seriki at RB? Genuinely who are the two who should be plaging on the wing?
There are certainly options that Bentley can try to see us through to January, however the next game is absolutely massive. | | | |
