Help please - Euro tickets 03:36 - Oct 12 with 1985 viewsEllGazzell

I know a few users have been or are regular England attendees:

I'm on the UEFA website entering the ticket draw for next year's Euros and I am only able to choose matches/games selected from groups, but these groups have not been populated yet, as the qualifiers are still ongoing.

I'm wanting to get tickets for EN and CZ games but I can't see how the hell I am doing anything other than sticking my finger in the air and hoping to A) predict the random groups that CZ/EN will fall into and then B) be successful in the lottery (closes Oct 26).

If anyone has more insight/experience and would be so kind as to enlighten me or point me in a better direction, then I would really appreciate it.

To get official England tickets you will need to be a member of the England Supporters Travel Club. You build up points by going to games then when tournaments come around you can enter a ballot and hope for the best. Obviously the more games youve been to the better chance you have. Other than that its the black market I'm afraid and ticket touts. The Uefa route you are going down you will end up getting tickets for a specific stadium but as you said it could be any random game at this moment.

England are currently on course to be one of the top seeded teams meaning they would be either B1, C1, D1, E1 or F1.

I make out that the Czechs would go into pot 4 as it stands but there's still a fair bit of football to played before all that is determined.

When i got tickets for the Euros in 1996 they were as stated above completely random.

I ended up at Old Trafford for Germany V Russia..

It is a great experience whatever game you end up with

Thanks for the replies especially Clivert as that pointed me to a lot more info.

I've just read on the pages of the Czech Football Association that from the 2nd of December, country-specific tickets will be on sale in the 2nd wave.

So I will enter the draw now for all knockout stages and wait on the 2nd wave for group/country specific.

Regards England: it seems like I'll be relying on "winning" the right knockout venues or the black market. Although with it being right next door and the Czechs riding a new generation, I'm gonna have to get my elbows out for CZ tickets.

I've applied for every opening game for the top seeds in each group as you don't have to commit to buying the tickets even if you are fortunate enough in the ballot.
