The year they won the Prem was the year I first started being taken to football and the first title I have any recollection of. Ewood Park on the first day of the following season was my first away game (ludicrous Shearer dive the referee clearly couldn’t wait to give). A sad decline over the last 30 years not that unlike our own.

I found this a very sad read. Ian Herbert is by far my favourite contributor from other teams, but this lacked his usual humour. Apart from possibly appointing Mandleson!
I have no idea what Ian looks like, but I'm sitting here picturing the look of despondency on his face!

Sadly having lost Sunderland last year we're now at risk of losing Ian, Sheff wed Jon and Dana from Boro who are basically four of our best contributors.

It is amazing though that despite all that incompetence there has been real success in managerial appointments and player recruitment and development. There are a lot of championship clubs, us included, that would be envious of the recruitment and development of Eustace, Tommason, Szmodics, Armstrong, Wharton, Brereton and Hyam amongst others.

A good read but, boy, does that guy love a metaphor?
I read it like a "Swiss Tony of Football Fans"!!!
To be honest I'm in shock. With everything going on at Sheff Weds, Florist, Spuds, Blackburn etc it does seem Queens park Rangers are slowly losing their grip on their place in the Circus of a Football Club challenge. We must be down to.....oooohhh I dunno... mid table in that competetion as well !!!!!
Cherish and enjoy life.... this ain't no dress rehearsal
