Hill suggested in his interview he has replacements in mind.
But also says until Bobby leaves, he's very much in his plans.
Donnelly, Bunny and Godwin also important to give a chance too.
Says that he really likes Donnelly, shows passion and determination.
But Done would be a great shout, great winger could help give Donnelly or the other front men a good ball to finish. |

Why is everyone shocked this has happened? This is a massive blow to the team as I personally feel bobby is best player in the squad, but supporters shouldn't be shocked.
If you think back to this time last year we had a bid rejected for bobby, but he wanted to leave scunny for dale to play under Coleman and be closer to his family. I 'presume' Coleman said make a bit of a stink and we got him on a free. What's the difference between now and then??? One of his reasons he said for leaving scunny was the fans didn't take to me.

Likewise, I'm not sure any cash actually changed hands with the move, but I dare say there will be a sizeable sell on clause. I'm expecting us to play GD up front with an ever rotating three behind, two out wide but interchanging as Hill used previously. |
I generally hate to predict teams/formations etc because only one man's views count at the end of the day , but I suspect this might be close to the truth .
Given the pattern of retentions , signings etc it would not surprise me if KH went back to his effective Div1 formation with , as WD suggests , a lone striker (GD) , three interchanging attackers behind (I thought Grant , Vicenti and Henderson) , backed by a solid midfield two (Kennedy/replacement , plus Tutte) , and with the standard back 4 .
On that basis , I'd certainly expect Grant's possible loss to be offset , even temporarily , by , say Hogan or Heri , although I would also agree some cover for GD might be needed , perhaps via loan signings as required/needed . | | | |

Its not a criticism , but I think playing Cavanagh as a regular central midfielder is going back a bit to the "square peg in round hole" syndrome we had with Eyre . I accept the guy performed pretty consistently for long spells in that role last season , but I'm a bit cynical that someone the wrong side of thirty and whose only really played at full back throughout his career , can suddenly transform himself into the high quality midfielder that we need to push on and upwards .
I don't doubt though he's a great player to have around the squad , and one who has now proved himself sufficiently versatile and committed to play an important role in the coming season . | | | |

Every team needs a Cavanagh, he won me around last season with his workrate. When you consider the amount of times he wins the ball back or breaks up play its inevitable that at times the odd pass might go astray, but i think he will be a key figure in Hillys plans. |  | | |

Last I heard, Hibs wanted to sign Done, but on lesser terms than he was on at Barnsley. All gone quiet since. He's probably waiting for a better offer. |  |
