Its great to be able to relate to the players and the fact some have moved up from Southern based clubs almost wants you to support them even more.
Beechy now working alongside Hilly is also a win, win situation in the long run for the club i reckon (If you know what i mean).

One of the many great things about having Hilly back is not needing to look at the table. I know we're 3rd, but there's no studying it to work out how far off such and such a place, or the gap between ourselves and 8th. It's just great entertainment and the league table can look after itself. Of course I want promotion, but if I had to take watching Dale play at this level the way we are doing for the rest of my life, I'd die a happy man.
Just wish a few more would turn up to watch it. 2,200 home fans merely highlights how few would be turning up if Hilly wasn't here. |  | | |

And there's the problem (or not). Keith Hill is bringing in the present crowds, but what else is being done differently apart from great football out on the pitch? Or should that be enough?

1. Rochdale is a poor town and many cannot afford to attend football.
2. It is on the run up to Christmas and therefore there are other demands on finances.
3. Many so called 'average football fans' would rather watch games on TV than attend games.
