Unless, of course, Liverpool want to sign him for a couple of million - in which case he's played, usually very effectively, in a large number of matches and is still only 23. Perhaps John Coleman's best signing during his spell as Dale manager.
The snag from our point of view is that (I think is the case?) his contract ends in June and he's not yet accepted an extension that is presumably on offer.
Interesting that he should be so featured in the Liverpool programme, as he left Anfield when 18 without making a first-team appearance. | | | |
