MATT SOUTHALL - the tale of VIP Auto Sales Worldwide Limited 23:21 - Jul 7 with 1767 viewsRAFCBLUE

Fat Pat is back from Rome.

She said the trip had a lot in common with Alexander Jarvis, in that despite a lot of early promise, it was a massive disappointment.

No wedding, no paintballing, no greasy chip barms. No fat bride. No bald groom.

But Fat Pat is good a turning up a gem or two. And she has Jarvis' phone bugged, which kinda helps turn up a gem or two.

Within the various list of companies where Matt Southall has been a Director, there was one where Fat Pat noted she had not previously read anything about.

Ladies and gentlemen meet: VIP Auto Sales Worldwide Limited of Salford Quays, Salford.

The Company was incorporated on 9 May 2013 and dissolved 23 December 2014.

It was another Southall enterprise that struggled with filing actual accounts.

Matt Southall was the sole shareholder (owning a magnificent 100 shares) throughout until it was dissolved (sound familiar!?)

Matt Southall was Secretary and Director from 9 May 2013 to 1 August 2013.

On 1 September 2013 two new Directors were appointed, a Craig Plant, and a Richard McMullen whilst Southall took a back seat and still owned the Company.

McMullen lasted only until 23 September 2013!

Who is Richard McMullen?

It transpires that there was a Richard McMullen who at the same time as being a Director of Matt Southall's company also operated a company called VIP Auto Sales Limited - a very similar sounding company.

Here's what the Manchester Evening News said:
Richard McMullen, 37, who operated his business, VIP Auto Sales Ltd, from Salford Quays , blamed a ‘rogue’ salesman after customers including former Birmingham City and Sheffield United goalkeeper, Ian Bennett, and professional tennis star, Joshua Goodall, were left out of pocket.

Trading standards officers in Salford first heard complaints about the credit brokerage firm, operating from the NV Buildings, in June 2013.

Advertising via Twitter, the company claimed it supplied cars to celebs and sports professionals with amazing discount deals.

Customers complained they had paid deposits for vehicles under a hire purchase agreement but had not received either the cars or a refund.

The closeness of McMullen with Southall is indisputable. Southall owned a company that he appointed Richard McMullen as a director - for a three week period.

McMullen was also was a Director along with Southall of Spitter 2 limited, and Spitter inc Limited. These were the 2 companies set up by the footballer Neil Danns, and also included another footballer Cameron Jerome as a Director.

Can Fat Pat link Matt Southall to Cameron Jerome?

Jerome wasn't in Rome either.

You can run, you can hide, you can even move from 264 Leigh Road but Fat Pat will find you.

And a first that this time all Alexander Jarvis did was Whatsapp - not actually blab.

Altogether now:
