Aye, but as with all stats it does need to be put into context as it includes the likes of Cannon, Bell and that Donnelly bloke.

I like the pitch map/graph axes idea.

Interesting that both Dale and Preston are positioned within similar axes for attacking and defending. Dunno what that means for Saturday though!

The notes on Preston make interesting reading

The only Football League team to have scored in every match so far, Preston have created more chances than anyone else in League 1 and have spent a greater share of time winning (48.8%) than any Football League side. Things aren’t bad at the back either, where they boast the division’s joint-highest tally of 6 clean sheets.

If we can stop them scoring it will be a great effort by our defence and with our not all that great goalscoring record at home lets hope we can finally get our shooting boots on
