Northampton in that last 'safe league position', Dale 11 points behind but with games in hand, if ever there was a time for a vintage 'Hill'' performance and result this is it!
Along with the cup replay and the rewards it possibly brings afterwards this is arguably the biggest week of our Dale supporting lives.
It's now............or never.

Its a BRILLIANT goal to cap a BRILLIANT start by Rochdale - Don Goodman 26/08/10

We have had several must win games, but the next two are 100% must win

I agree, 100% must win. Highly unlikely though due to our away record this season and Northampton's current form. But I suppose we have a bit of an advantage in that we know Bunney's game. He can provide a few assists but he can also be their weak link. Our right side needs to be attacking him mercilessly and he'll make mistakes.

To me, very similar to the circumstances in 2006 when Hill got his chance as a manager.

A team that didn't know how to win. Players that looked shot of confidence and understanding of what to do

What did Hill (and Griffiths and Flitcroft) did brilliantly was to stop the thoughts of playing with any fear.

It led to some silly games of football but enough results to achieve a safe position and on top of that put a lot of smiles on people's faces.

It made watching Rochdale fun again.

I hope we replicate this mindset, starting tomorrow at Northampton.

I reckon that come the end of the season, Northampton will be nowhere near the relegation zone and might even finish as high up as top half. Interesting in the iFollow interview that hilly said the Scunny manager had been complaining about not being able to compete with Northampton in terms of wages during this window.

McNulty will play. It’ll be Wiseman for Daniels. If Camps is still injured Knott come in, if not then I do hope it’s not Cannon who misses out.

Subs: Knott/Kitching, Humphrys, Dobre, McGahey, Hart, Thompson and Moore.

Rathbone, Ntlhe and Inman could miss out totally.

Somebody has got to start it might as well be me.

If Dale win I will be "All shook up" but if Northampton score a 90th minute equaliser "Dont be cruel"

This is not the time for bickering.

If any of the new signings don't come up to scratch will it be a case of "return to sender"?
