How are you celebrating one year since removing Bottomley? 21:47 - May 31 with 2975 viewsRAFCBLUE

Has anyone got anything planned to mark the first anniversary of the EGM which removed David Bottomley?

The Trust are hosting a Race Night which I am sure will see some celebrations!

George Bernard Shaw had it right: "He who can does; he who cannot, teaches." https://www.visittheusa.co.uk/
Poll: EGM - which way are you voting?

Definitely the place to celebrate what happened in that room one year ago.
Hopefully Race Night will finish a bit sooner than the meetings did

Champagne anybody?

I'll be attending one of the beacon events.

This one hasn't been publicised much, but I'll be lighting up the firepit and throwing an effigy of the lying, two-faced, underhanded, duplicitous snake on when the flames are at their height, and raising a toast to Hasbro, Rochdale Development, RAFC, KFC Fylde and any other body which has seen through him and ou(s)ted him for what he is.

I did not realise, it as been a year our Roger departed for pasture's new and to spread his wisdom, leadership skills and self-serving personalty to a wider community.

I will have a drink in to sooth my feelings.

Seriously; this is worth celebrating. It is probably the best news since Tommy Cannon was thwarted many years ago.

I reckon a 4 day bank holiday weekend should suffice. Failing that; get down to the Trust's race night this evening and raise a glass.

Removing that shameless scab from our board is something that should be proudly celebrated. I am sure there will be recollections tonight by those in attendance of how he displayed weapons grade disdain for the shareholders, his fellow and former board members as well as employees, how his avaricious pay award he told the chairman was between 10 & 15%, repeated upon being challenged by a former director who had acted with honour in resigning, whilst in the midst of a no income period and others were being put out of work, the times he was challenged to actually answer the question, and the subsequent and typically ill-thought out actions appear to have fooked up a hostile takeover.

VD Day, anyone?

Poll: What is it to be then?

I'm going to play the classic old spectrum video game "Everyone's a wally" in honour of Roger and the band of wallys involved in this sorry saga.

I will end the day watching the classic Only Fools and Horses episode "It's only rock and roll" where Rodney joined a band called "A bunch of wallys". 1, 2, 3I Do the 1,2,3,4's here, Roger!

You know those 'amusing' pictures of cartoon in a football shirt peeing on the shirt of the rival team?
I think you know where I'm going with this.
