If he could re-discover his best form i wonder if he may be worth a punt on a short term deal just to give us some natural width?

Would welcome Rundle back tomorrow. Gives genuine balance to a side.

Ex Daley on the move on 15:01 - Jan 12 with 1051 views | ChaffRAFC | We're at a point now where I'd actually contemplate taking Rundle back, purely because he adds better width than our current wingers (except Adams). I also noticed that Will Atkinson has been recalled from his loan spell at Plymouth. Another player I'd look at signing if the opportunity came about.

Ex Daley on the move on 15:47 - Jan 12 with 973 views | NotEyreClue | Russell was a class keeper in my eyes, great signing for Forest Green. I was always a huge fan of Rundle, his delivery was generally excellent...would take him back in a heartbeat. I'd happily welcome Atkinson v1 back but v2 was a big disappointment for me.

Ex Daley on the move on 16:02 - Jan 12 with 937 views | Brierls | Atkinson was at his best when playing on the left wing, thats where he played for most of his first loan spell. I'd have him back before Rundle.
Ex Daley on the move on 16:55 - Jan 12 with 826 views | NotEyreClue | Did he not play there on his second spell? I can't imagine he'd have played anywhere else? He didn't look the same player when he came back...not sure why that is

We were playing 4-4-2 in his first spell, it was the 4-5-1/4-3-3 last season. Atko often ended up on the right or sometimes off the front man until Done proved best for that role. Positions revolved so much during games and it didn't seem to suit Atkinson as much as when he played a natural wireman role outside of the JK-Taylor midfield partnership.

Oh I understand that we chopped and changed formations but it just felt like he lost a lot of his pace and dribbling in the second spell. He wasn't ever the quickest player but had short bursts of pace and was willing to take people on (usually pretty effectively) but in the second spell he looked a lot less interested and willing to prove himself.

Ex Daley on the move on 19:56 - Jan 12 with 611 views | macro | personally rundle is a backwards move but a winger to be opposite adams is a good move if jt is not the answer
Ex Daley on the move on 21:32 - Jan 12 with 527 views | Shun | I think Atkinson would be a fantastic signing IF we'd be playing 4-4-2. As 442Dale says he was fantastic when playing as a proper winger, less so when he returned and our formation had changed. Rundle wouldn't be bad either, but I'd prefer Maniatkinson.

I tried inviting him back on twitter - told him to bring his guitar. Surprisingly didn't respond.

Rundle produced as much as Thompson. And that's not meant to be critical.

Don't agree - Rundle laid on a lot of goals as well as scoring a few. He had a great cross on him. Russell was unfairly let go too IMO.

It was praising Rundle. ie. Thompson remained at the club despite being in the same squad when Hill brought success to the side.
