Penalty decision. 11:49 - Aug 27 with 941 views

Ive been trying to think of a worse penalty awarded and could'nt for the life of me think of one.......then it dawned on me........may 2008......play off semi final 2nd leg.......... Spotland Stadium. So now weve been possibly awarded against 2 of the worst penalty decisions ever. I remember at the time thinking with whats at stake you cant possibly give a decision like that. I felt exactly the same last night,surely youve got to put into context the fact we were little Rochdale who had just outplayed Premiership Birmingham and taken the lead. If I were a linesman It would have to be a proper foul for me to award anything. Derbyshire was going nowhere and Holness was trying to shepherd the player and ball out. You could tell derbyshire had taken a dive as he wasnt going anywhere. I was furious at the time that a corner had been given never mind a bloody penalty!
