Exiles Day
at 19:43 3 Jan 2023

We are now open for bookings for our popular annual Exiles Day which will take place on 4 March 2023 when Dale play Stevenage. It’s an event that is for Trust members only so everyone who attends will need to be a member. Sign up with this link if you’ve forgotten to join. https://www.daletrust.co.uk/adult-exile-membership/

We hope that the early part of 2023 will bring better results than of late so that not only do we rise up the table but also that we retain our remarkable unbeaten home run for Exiles Days. In recognition of the tremendous support given by Exiles to the club over the years, the Trust is subsidising ticket prices which means that you will pay less than last year. What’s not to like?

Your ticket will get you a place to watch the match from one of the executive boxes, a pre-match buffet and a number of pre-match visits from management, directors and players as well as a stadium tour. There will also be a raffle for a Dale shirt. We are hoping to get a former player along given the success of Willie Burns’ guest appearance last year. The Trust is sponsoring the matchball so there will be plenty of Trust members milling around the hospitality areas which will make for a great atmosphere. Exiles will also choose the Man of the Match. It’s always a brilliant day out. Full details will be announced in due course and we expect to get underway at 12.30pm.

With many Exiles also being Season Card holders, we have two prices — one for Season Card holders, and one for those who aren’t.

We are limited to 40 places for this event and with well over 300 Exiles on the Trust membership list we expect to sell out. We will set a deadline for ticket sales once we have finalised arrangements and we will keep everyone up to date with our plans. But the message is clear — don’t delay. To secure your place, please fill out the form below.

Notes
* Places are strictly limited to Dale Trust members only
* Concessions are Seniors (65+), Young Person (12-21) and Junior (U12)

https://www.daletrust.co.uk/2022/07/hendo-signing-shirt-raffle/

This is a little bit special. We are raffling off the “Hendo” shirt that the great man wore when he signed back for the club last week, and he’s signed it for us too.

You will be able to the purchase raffle tickets online using the link below, or from the Trust at the games against Port Vale, Crewe, Burton and Grimsby or at the forthcoming Fans Forum.

Tickets are £1 a strip but you can purchase six strips for £5, thirteen strips for £10 or twenty seven strips for £20.

If you are purchasing them online, we will email you back and let you know what your numbers will be.

We will do the draw on Sunday 14th August, and we will find a way of broadcasting the draw. All the money from the raffle will go towards the legal defence fund.

Trust Ballot
at 19:43 15 Jun 2022

We have emailed all Trust members with a ballot form regarding this month's EGM with an explanation with regards to what each proposal is. Members have until Sunday 26th June at 7pm to vote.

As always, we have not urged members to vote in any particular way in the ballot, and the Trust will vote in accordance with the wishes of the membership and always will do. The Trust is the largest recognised shareholder in the Football Club and it is important to us that as a members' organisation that we follow the mandate given to us by our members.

Any Trust member who has not received the email with the link to the voting slip should check their spam folder, and if it is still not there (give it a couple of hours to turn up), drop us an email to info@daletrust.co.uk and we'll get it posted out to you.

Voting is open to all Adult and Exile Trust members who signed up for the 2021-22 season.

Completing the 92
at 12:44 27 Feb 2022

We want to register a donation from a supporter of every team in the English football system and we want your help to achieve that.

As thing stand, we have raised approximately £37,500 for the legal defence against Morton House, with £26,312 coming through the crowdjustice site at http://upthedalenotforsale.co.uk. Many of those donations have come from supporters of other teams with fans from over thirty different sides represented. We want to make this 92 with at least one donation from a supporter of every club in the EFL and Premier League.

And this is where you come in as Dale fans. We want you to use social media, Club forumsyou’re your own personal contacts to get a minimum of one supporter from each club donating. Please ask them to leave details of which team they support.

Of course, we are not restricting this to the EFL. We’ve already received a donation from Borussia Dortmund, so let’s push for donations from the big teams around the world, and lets go for the most obscure teams too. It would be great to see donations from Barcelona alongside those from Macarthur FC.

You can view our interactive world map showing the teams who’s supporters have donated by going to https://www.google.com/maps/d/u/0/edit?mid=19Nm9UH8TGyrX971JdpEneWZqUV3qVv7h& We will update this map on a regular basis.

So far, we have received donations from the following:

Premier League

Arsenal
Brighton
Burnley
Chelsea
Crystal Palace
Everton
Leeds united
Liverpool
Manchester City
Southampton

Championship

Blackburn rovers
Bristol city
Derby County

Thank you
at 18:21 14 Feb 2022

Just a big thank you to everyone who contributed to Saturday's matchday collection. We took in a massive £1,521.46 which to surpassed expectations doesn't do it justice.

https://www.daletrust.co.uk/2022/02/saturdays-donations-brings-in-1500/

We were hoping that people would be rooting down the side of the couch and bringing in loose change but it was pretty humbling to be honest seeing people coming up and dropping off notes. Every donation was very much appreciated.

As we say in the piece, we'll be there for most if not all games for the rest of the season, but we could not and do not expect to see such generosity at every game.

Thanks again to all donors and the volunteers who helped bring the money in.

Curry Night tickets on sale
at 10:06 6 Feb 2022

https://www.daletrust.co.uk/2022/02/curry-night-tickets-on-sale/

We are delighted to announce the return of the Dale Trust Curry Night that will be held on Thursday 14th April.

In a twist, this year it will be held at the Ratcliffe Suite at the Football Club with the food provided by the highly rated Bombay Brew. The reason for the departure is by hosting it at the Ratcliffe Suite, we can up the capacity to 150 where previously we have been restricted to less than a hundred.

We are currently working on the menu and the speakers but we are keen to ensure that no one will be left disappointed on the night. We will have all the usual extras on the night such as raffles and auctions in what has become one of the best non footballing nights on the Dale calendar.

All profits from the Curry Night will go towards the legal costs in defending the petition from Morton House. (anhttpd whilst you’re here, if you want to donate, go to http://upthedalenotforsale.co.uk)

Tickets are £30 to Trust members and £35 to non members. Sales are limited to a maximum of four per person and there will be a priority period for Trust members between now and Sunday 13th February. No reservations will be accepted. Tickets will go on open sale on Sunday 13th February. Any tickets for non members during the priority period will be refunded.

We will email everyone closer to the night with regards to seating plans but all multiple ticket purchases will be sat together.

Update
at 17:13 2 Feb 2022

We have received an email from Matthew Southall with a statement from Morton House this afternoon that was being circulated to both local and national media. As you'd expect, we have passed this on to our legal team and we are not planning on making any comment at this moment in time.

Vote for August POTM & you could win that Player's shirt
at 08:17 1 Sep 2021

https://www.daletrust.co.uk/2021/09/vote-for-your-player-of-the-month-for-august

Tuesday’s win over Liverpool U21 meant that our games in August have now come to a close, so it’s now time to vote for your Player of the Month for August and you could win that player’s shirt.

The Player of the Month awards have been run by the Trust since our inception back in 2004, and with Covid restrictions now easing, we are looking forward to making the presentation to the winning player in person again.

This is how it works:

* Voting is open to all Dale supporters
* One Trust member will be picked at random from all of those voting, and will make the presentation to the winning player
* That Trust member will receive that player’s replica shirt and a copy of the winning plaque
* Voting will close at kick off time on Saturday

If you’ve not signed up yet, you can still do so to be included in the draw. It is quite common that the first name to be drawn out is not a Trust member, so a redraw is needed.

Whilst it could be subject to change, we will be looking to make the presentation after the Tranmere game on 11th Sept.

Use the link above to cast your vote.

(any missed players who have played in August, please let me know)

Donate each month for shares
at 16:42 9 Aug 2021

https://www.daletrust.co.uk/.../trust-launches-monthly.../

Following a request by Trust members, we are now launching a scheme where you can make a regular monthly donation to the Trust that will be ringfenced in order to purchase further shares to help safeguard the future of the Club.

We are launching a "Monthly shares donation" where supporters can donate a regular amount of their choice to the Trust each month. Any money raised through this scheme will be used exclusively to increase the number of shares held by the Trust, whether that be by private share transfer or if there was a future share release. This is solely being done to safeguard the future of the club. This can be cancelled at any time.

The amount payable is entirely your choice, and as a certain supermarket chain once said, every little helps. The idea from our point of view is for you to contribute a monthly amount that you are comfortable with that we hope collectively will add up and put us a stronger position to look after the club.

If you are interested in making a monthly donation to the Trust for this purpose, please fill out the form on the link at the top. You do not need a paypal account to complete this (use the debit or credit card option).

Fans wanted for working party

We need some fans to form a working party to help look at ticketing for home matches. More details are on the link as are details about how to get involved but just to clarify, this is looking at the technical side of things eg bar code entry, print at home tickets etc rather than cost. Very important that we get a cross section of supporters with non season ticket holders especially needed.
