8 games in...
at 20:30 22 Sep 2013

I think it's safe to say that the majority of Dale fans will be pleased with 14 points from the first 8 games , especially when we're only in 2nd or 3rd gear.

Looking at the way we've played for the first 8 games, what would be your starting 11 for the Wycombe game on Saturday? Mine would be:

- Lills
Rhhhys, Lancashire, O'Connell, Rose
- Lund, Dicker
- Done, Henderson, Hery
- Hogan

I think it's safe to say Lancashire, Hendo, Lund and Hogan have been the best of the bunch so far, and it'd be hard to call who has been the best.

Personally, I've not been impressed by Vincetti. It's safe to say he acts as the perfect target man, however I a winger to be able to beat a man and put a cross in which he hasn't shown he can do. I think Hery needs a run out to be honest, always looks lively when he comes on.

Wycombe is going to be a tough game, and a win will provide a huge confidence boost for the trip down to Pompey. A win down their will certainly cure the hangovers.

I am very optimistic for this season.

Derby Day - Supporters team
at 20:59 3 Sep 2013

The Rochdale Supporters Trust team take on Bury on Saturday morning.

We currently sit top of the IFA league on goal difference, having played 4 won 4 so far this season.

Kick of will be between 10.30-11 at Hopwood Hall Middleton, on the 3G pitch.

The lads are wanting to carry on the unbeaten run and after a very physical game against the same opposition a fortnight ago, I'd imagine the return leg will be just the same.

Get down and support us if you can!

Up the Dale!

West Ham Supporters were shown how to play football this morning, by Rochdale's finest.

A fine 2-1 away win after setting off at 5am, shows we are the best supporters team in the UK.

Bournemouth player on loan at Accy.
A MEN sports journalist has tweeted a youtube video of him from a few years back. I expect some good banter will come in the Accrington dressing room.

Happy with that!
at 18:05 19 Nov 2011

I was speaking to SE with a few mates before the game.

He was stood outside waiting for David Ball to turn up, apparently he rang SE this morning and said he is not in the Peterborough squad, so he wanted to come and watch. He said "he is hopefully our new striker".

He told us the team, it was supposed to be a 4-3-1-2 with Grimes as the 1.

I thought we had a really solid performance, still get nervous when our defenders have the ball though, but that's just part of being a Rochdale fan. Jordan was very impressive.

Harry Bunn was brilliant, he looked to be playing on the left wing. Everytime he got the ball he was attacking and looked dangerous. He was doing a few COG style turns, which worked the majority of the time, I think he did that in the box just before our goal.

Their luck seems to be worse than ours, the referee didn't do them any favours denying what I thought was a clear penalty in the 90 minute. And they hit the post from about 2 yards out at 0-0.

My MOM would go to Bunn, followed by Jordan.

Not looking forward to Saturday
at 17:30 3 Nov 2011

Without doubt going to play a back 4 who have never played together before, against a team unbeaten at home, and infront of a big crowd.

If we never had a supporters game against them lot in the morning I doubt I'd be going.

It's going to be a cricket score.

Moan over.

Money making opportunity?
at 16:20 18 Mar 2011

"Fans at a game between top side's AC Milan and AS Bari were shocked to see their favourite players doing the limbo, fencing and swimming before Sunday's game.

As supporters arrived at the ground the two squads appeared to run on to the pitch and perform a number of strange stunts.

Gennaro Gattuso could be seen ballroom dancing with the referee while Clarence Seedorf seemed to be shadow boxing his way round the pitch.

But the video has since been revealed to be a marketing stunt for Italian sports newspaper Gazzete dello Sport."

I can see us doing something like this for the observer?
