Euro 2020 Qualifying...European nations league!?
at 16:14 13 Oct 2017

Strange format for the Euro 2020 qualifying. Also the introduction of the 'European nations league set to replace friendlies. First I've heard of these changes. http://www.uefa.com/uefaeuro-2020/news/newsid=2502936.html

Well done to Rochdale supporters team on beating PNE to win the 'supporters world cup'.

Apparently Chris Beech turned up with 4 crates for the lads! Nice touch.

JLAA
at 11:34 16 Jun 2012

Reading some of the comments on here you would think the guy was Pele!

Don't get me wrong I would like to see him extend his stay at Spotland, as his pace and direct style makes him a great impact sub.

However, if (when) he chooses to decline signing a new contract, I would certainty not lose any sleep over it. If I'm being honest his finishing is woeful for a striker.

I'll probably get slated for this post, but I'll stand by my point that despite his undoubted commitment for the shirt, JLAA will only ever be an average league 2 striker.

Opening games.
at 21:09 3 Aug 2011

I was just trying to think back to last time we won on the opening weekend of the season. Does anyone know? It seems that in recent years we haven't had much success in our curtain raisers.

10/11 Hartlepool (H) drew 0-0

09/10 Port Vale (A) drew 1-1

08/09 Grimsby (A) drew 0-0

07/08 Peterborough (A)
lost 3-0

06/07 Walsall (H) lost 1-0

Can't remember the games previous to this.

Promotion anniversary.
at 13:34 14 Apr 2011

Well this Sunday will mark one year to the day, that we secured promotion. It doesn't seem a year ago, that we were celebrating that joyous occasion.

Think a Sunday session may be in order to commemorate the day!

Tazzy in hospital.
at 00:14 25 Mar 2011

Not sure if this has been posted on here. Tazzy trapped his leg in between a tram and the platform on tuesday, which resulted in him breaking his thigh bone and has had a metal plate put in.

He had to have a blood transfusion during the operation, however his step mother assures me he is ok.

Not sure when he'll be back, he is currently at Manchester royal infirmary
Im sure you'll join me in wishing him all the best and to get better soon.
