Nelson and Tulloch Return To Parent Clubs
Friday, 6th Jan 2023 10:26 by Chaff

The January shape shifting continues as Ben Nelson and Rayhaan Tulloch head back to their parent clubs.

It's fair to say neither play had a big influence on the side unfortunately but this could just have been a case of wrong place, wrong time for the pair. Ben Nelson did show some promise but found himself out of the team as the form of Sam Graham improved while Rayhaan Tulloch unfortunately showed very little indeed.

Nelson returns to Premier League side Leicester City having made 9 starts and 3 sub appearances for Dale. Tulloch returns to West Brom having made just 5 starts (only 2 in the league) and 9 sub appearances.

Jim Bentley has a massive job on his hands trying to keep Rochdale in the Football League this season after a disastrous season so far and with the club being very vocal and transparent about our current financial predicament, it's not known just how much room for maneuver there is but with Connor Malley having left this week as well, we're hoping to be able to report some replacements for the three players than have been moved on.

We wish all three players the best for the future.
