Week 4 results ASTON VILLA 2 SUNDERLAND 2 Aston Villa let down the 23 who backed them to win here. Well played to the 4 who went against the crowd, with 2 getting it spot-on, and the other 2 having the outcome. LIVERPOOL 0 WEST HAM 3 A fixed -odd coupon buster this result. A Happy League buster as well, with nobody scoring any points, as West Ham win their first League match at Anfield since 1963. MANCHESTER CITY 2 WATFORD 0 A straight forward win for one of the weeks bankers. 4 got this spot-on, and a further 22 had the outcome. HULL 2 PRESTON 0 Another popular result this one, as 6 have this spot-on, and 18 get 1 point for the outcome. MK DONS 0 BIRMINGHAM 2 For the second home game running the franchise let their supporters down. Well done to Daniel for being the only one to get this spot-on, and only one member had the outcome. BLACKPOOL 0 WALSALL 4 Blackpool are already looking booked for one of the League 1 relegation spots after this result. Nobody managed to get this spot-on, but 20 did get the outcome. COLCHESTER 2 SCUNTHORPE 2 The U's stretch their unbeaten home League run to eight games. Just burnsieespana got this spot-on with his blind predictions, with 7 having the outcome. LEYTON ORIENT 2 BRISTOL ROVERS 0 Leyton Orient maintain their 100% start to the season with this comfortable win. A massive 8 got this spot-on, with another 14 getting the outcome. LUTON 1 PORTSMOUTH 2 A late winner for Portsmouth here, that will please the 7 who had this spot-on, with 4 others getting the outcome. With many of the weeks "good things" coming off, this was overall a high scoring week. Nobody managed to get three spot-on, but with ten members finding two each, there was a fierce competition to be the weeks top performer. In the end by also getting six further outcomes, to go with his Aston Villa 2-2 and QPR 1-0 spot-ons, jonestones won this accolade with a brilliant 12 points. He just edges out Gunnerjosh, who continues his incredible start to the season, with a very good 11 points (including the Hull and Portsmouth spot-ons). As Division One keep up their record of outscoring the Premier every week so far, the other meritorious efforts came from this league with concordman(Man City and Leyton Orient spot-on) and desthegooner (Leyton Orient and Portsmouth spot-on) both getting 10 points. Also from gerry_us (Hull and Portsmouth spot-on) and burnsieespana (Hull spot-on to go with his Colchester 2-2), who both got 9 points. Those 11 points from Gunnerjosh increases his lead at the top of Division One, as this newcomer continues to set a scorching pace. In fact newbies occupy the top four places as concordman moves up another two into third, and the biggest mover in this division jonestones, moves up six places into fourth, after his top scoring effort. Another solid week from s.sutton87 moves him into the top half. A good recovery from desthegooner after last weeks blank, moves him back up two places. In comparison there is a lot less happening in the Premier, though with her good 8 points (including Leyton Orient and Portsmouth spot-on) ethicsgirl is the new leader. The top scorer in this league is a back to form mrhappy, whose 9 points included getting the Man. City and Leyton Orient spot-on. Those points moved him out of the bottom three for the first time this season. A dearth of 3 pointers continues to hold back a number in this league. THE TABLES (28 out of 280 played) Tie-breaker: Most 3 pointers, and then the first to post. Week 5 Fixtures. The first International break of the season means its games from League 1 and League 2 only this week. FLEETWOOD v ROCHDALE CREWE v SWINDON OLDHAM v BRADFORD CITY CAMBRIDGE UNITED v LUTON STEVENAGE v PLYMOUTH YEOVIL v MORECAMBE Good luck everybody. [Post edited 30 Aug 2015 13:23]
