Had an image of a plane with the words 'above us only sky'

...or just stuff that stuck in your head. I've got two that always come to mind.
a/ As a youngster coming back from Millwall '73, we pulled into Wapping Station to see painted on a wall, a pair of legs (from the knees down), crossed in the manner of 'irons', jeans cut short with big DM's and the words, West Ham Welcoming Committee scrolled around 'em. Made a lasting impression on an already anxious away fan.
b/ Walking into Moss Side heading for Maine Rd, forearm with a needle sticking out of it drawn on a bridge - written over the top, Heroin, it's what your left arms for. (take on a popular beer commercial at the time). [Post edited 27 May 23:05]

I believe the local constabulary, State Troopers and Feds were present to nick...an unlicensed dentist!
Apparently, the gent not only had a successful business but was fiddling his billing, charging medical companies / health providers for work he hadn't done.
Amazing really, millions crossing the Rio Grande without a bother, but you cross the State over a dodgy root canal... |

...involving various law enforcement agencies, raided the house two doors down from me early this morning. Hauled away an older gent who I occasionally wish a good morning. No idea what he's allegedly been up to, but very exciting start to my day, even though I had to kindly ask one of the coppers to move his flashing light vehicle from the top of my driveway. |
