Meet The Board Tonight
at 11:57 3 Jun 2024

Amazing to think that almost 3 years ago to the day, several AGM's / EGM's were held in the same room. A quite unprecedented and well documented series of events followed. A long and difficult battle to save the club ensued, and has been won. Tonight marks a significant milestone in the club's history. UP THE DALE!

Rob Burrow.

One hell of a player was "Little Rob". Watching that Rhinos side with him, Sinfield, Senior, McGuire et al made a pleasant change from the usual St Helens / Wigan dominance back in the day. Stephen Hawking, Rob Burrow, and those we have known personally - hits home how cruel MND is.

Whichever version of "bury" this is now, it had proven liar Boris Johnson "levelling up" on their pitch as they crawled for money and used political opportunism. One of that "Gigg" mob, the "fook the phoenix" people has been named, identified by photo and shamed as a pitch invader at Wythenshawe. He got a ticket in the ballot nobshaker speaks of. Surely all those who got the 350 tickets will be known to "buryfc". Names and contact details will be in the hands of the club and they will know who the hooligans who got tickets are. Pretending those few tickets got into the hands of the unknown is just nonsense. Never their fault. My avatar is a bury pitch invader. Some things never change. TK's left arm is on there too.

bury fc in whatever form exists for us to laugh at.

For some reason, I am able to access the ticket on a webpage, but can't get to the app to install it on my phone. The wallet solution works so all sorted.

The "general response online" seems to be decent bury fans are appalled by the hoolie element amongst their own, not denying they exist. Thanks to my well-behaved bury mate for sharing these. Full of nonsense, again, nobshaker. You never change.

Club Statement. Deal done
at 17:05 9 May 2024

After all the horrors of the past 3 years, what a wonderful outcome. The whole Ogden set up is the best we could ever wish for, thank you so much.

Certain people outwith the Ogden family also deserve a huge amount of credit for battling through to save the club during the most difficult and stressful of times. They know who they are.

What a great day for Dale fans. As for a pretend Dale fan, another failed business deal that went spectacularly wrong to add to its reputational damage. Heh. UP THE DALE.

Are bury fc any nearer to exiting administration and paying up the £12million they owe to individual debtors, whilst the current lot are continuing the pretence of being massive with no recognition of said debts incurred by bury's town club?

Some things never change in bury.

Its ban ends 14th October 2024. I believe Frances Fielding is involved with FCUM so some parasitic back-scratching seems probable.

The proposed EGM of 23rd March 2020, contained a resolution asking existing shareholders to waive their pre-emption rights for 5 years. Fortunately (!), this was postponed because of the Covid pandemic and we didn't get Rogered. 100% agree with Brierls and D_Alien. There is no need to take up your pre-emptive rights this time round. At least they are not being taken away! Technically, and legally, excellent work by the club and the Odgens. Sent out on the 22nd as promised. A shame not everyone entitled to receive it has. For now. Something to sort out ASAP.

Wonder if RAFC would like to make a similar contribution to the debate, and many others?

Managers post-match interviews are never easy to do and get picked apart.

However, this one is just frightful...

"We've got nothing to fight for"
How about entertaining the few that turned up?

And its 7 undefeated at home, Greg. Not 8 or 9, Greg.

Agree Nevett was outstanding tonight.

Boring Dale 0 Boreham Wood 0

Same old, only one way, ineffectual, overcoached and dire to watch nonsense from players capable of so much more. We're on the cusp of something fantastic happening to the club off the field. Is it really going to be utilised in the best way with play that is so bafflingly boring to watch?

Will we ever leave a man up towards the centre circle when defending a corner so that we can drag two of their defenders away and have an outlet from a clearance who can press on to try and score or at least hold play up while the troops can gather to attack? We have players in Sinclair and Hayes, and others, who could perform that role well. Looks like a tactic that is viable in this league but alien to our manager. He'd rather invite a repeat attack from a clearance than have someone available to hold the ball up and utilise time better to our advantage.

When you weigh events of this season up, I suppose it's an OK league position, but in a poor league. All we see is the same old same old same old backwards sideways borefest. Our work in the final third tonight was abysmal, apart from East's shot that hit the bar. The last four dire draws in a row alone do not indicate the progression required for success is anywhere near imminent. Performance play only(Jim's priority), not playing with a desire to be winners.

It's a tough call, but on what our eyes tell us, Jim's time as head coach has to be under question if this is all he can offer.
