Pompey keeper would be happy to see some 2-1 wins Wednesday, 12th Mar 2014 23:44 by pompey-fans.com staff Trevor Carson may be doing his job well at the moment - but he's rather be letting in the odd goal and seeing Pompey win. He spoke out after Pompey's third straight 0-0 draw - at home to Burton - which left the Blues just five points in front of the team in League Two's top relegation spot. Carson told The News: 'It’s frustrating. One 0-0 is fine, but three in a row is a bit different. As a keeper, you are happy with clean sheets and a little bit of me is happy at that. But I’d sacrifice conceding a goal to win a game 2-1. ‘It just doesn’t seem to be going for us and, if I’m honest, we haven’t done enough to win the game. I can’t put the finger on it at the moment but we are lacking that spark.’ ‘We don’t look like beating teams by a few goals at the moment. We’ve worked hard on the defence since the gaffer has come in. But he hasn’t neglected the forwards. We spend a lot of time working on finishing.’ Are you put off watching Pompey by a string of goalless draws? Or is it a means to an end?
