Another clean Pompey sheet - but it's tough viewing Tuesday, 10th Feb 2015 22:57 by pompey-fans.com staff A point gained or two dropped? There'll be Pompey fans thinking along both those lines after a gritty but largely-forgettable 0-0 draw with Dagenham and Redbridge at Victoria Park. Pompey were organised at the back and left keeper Paul Jones with little in the way of notable action. But his opposite number wasn't exactly overworked either. Andy Awford, not surprisingly, went with an unchanged starting line-up and in the first half it was wing-back Dan Butler and Joe Devera who went closest to creating an opening. Jamie Cureton and Ashley Hemmings tested Jones to a degree but Pompey were never under the cosh. Jed Wallace and James Dunne got into dangerous positions as Pompey went for the breakthrough in the second half but there was little to excite the 885 visiting fans. The bright side is that this was a third straight clean sheet and third game unbeaten - all solid stuff if the Blues can do as they did last week and follow a 0-0 on the road with a home victory, when Exeter visit Fratton on Saturday. Pompey: Jones; Devera, Robinson, Whatmough; Passley, Dunne, Wallace (Atangana 66), Hollands, Butler, Tubbs (Westcarr 87), Taylor. Subs not used: Poke, Webster, Ertl, Barcham, Chaplin. Referee: Trevor Kettle Attendance: 2,310 (885 Pompey fans)
