Winning mentality still there for Pompey - at least for now Thursday, 17th Sep 2015 22:53 by pompey-fans.com staff Paul Cook knows Pompey's unbeaten run won't last forever - but is determined to keep his players in a winning frame of mind for as long as it does. The Blues are now the only League Two side not to have lost a game in the division this season and they put that record on the line when they visit Michael Appleton's Oxford on Saturday. Cook told the Pompey website: 'I watched Oxford at Bristol Rovers a couple of weeks ago and saw they were a strong side. It’s going to be a good test for us. But we will go into the match using the same approach as we have for every other one — with a winning mentality. 'We’ll enjoy this run while we can because we know it’s going to end at some point. That’s part and parcel of the game. Being unbeaten is a pat on the back for the players, but everyone knows that there is still a very long way to go.' Gary Roberts will miss out through injury and may still be absent when Pompey go to Bristol Rovers next week.
