Paul Cook said Pompey's play-off first-leg draw with Plymouth had everything.

The Blues boss described it as a great spectacle for League Two but felt big decisions had again gone against his side - as he feels they have at Fratton throughout the season.

Cook told Sky Sports: 'There were some big calls by the referee, whether he got them right or wrong is irrelevant. When we have watched it four times on telly, we'll know whether he got them right or wrong.

'We feel we should have got decisions we never got but there you go, we are used to that at home. I'm not bothered where I watch the game from on Sunday.

'If the referee gets the head-butt wrong and the lad has head-butted him, he should have been sent off. If the lad hasn't head-butted then I should be sent to the stands. We feel we don't get the big decisions at Fratton Park.

'It was a great game, it was a great spectacle for League Two. It had everything you want from a football game.'

Pompey take the same squad to Plymouth with seemingly little hope injured duo Matt Clarke and Conor Chaplin are fit enough to come back into the reckoning.

The Blues' big following will be crucial to their hopes at Home Park and skipper Michael Doyle praised the way they raised the roof at Fratton.

He said: 'It was a great game - a typical match in the play-offs. The fans were amazing, as they have been all season. They kept getting behind us and I'm glad we could reward them with a result that keeps us in the tie.

'We asked them to try to raise things even more and that's one of the best atmosphere's I've played in.'
