Pompey won't be hassled over new faces Monday, 26th Jun 2017 22:25 by pompey-fans.com staff Pompey are in no rush to make more signings - despite pre-season training starting this week. The players report back on Thursday with the first game lined up for Saturday at Salisbury. But the squad does look light in places. Despite that, chief exec Mark Catlin said there'd be no hurry to sign players - the club would rather take time to get the right people in. He told The News: 'We are led by Kenny with regard to who he wants to sign and how he wants to play it. It’s always been the same. Kenny has said he’s looking at quality over quantity. ‘He’s looking at making quality signings. We don’t want to rush in. We are on schedule but it’s worth asking everyone just to be patient. ‘By being patient we will ultimately get our rewards at the end of it.’
