Naylor nailed on already for his Pompey spot Monday, 15th Oct 2018 21:43 by pompey-fans.com staff Tom Naylor says he already feels like a key player for Pompey - and few would disagree after he led the side to their latest away win. The former Burton man scored and was outstanding in the 2-1 win at AFC Wimbledon. He has quickly established himself as first-choice midfielder for Kenny Jackett and told the Blues website after the win at Kingsmeadow: 'It took the first three or four games for me to really settle in because this is a huge club with a lot of fans. 'Now I feel like I’m a big part of this team as we look to keep moving forward and have a successful season.' Naylor was delighted by Pompey's sixth away win in seven and by his maiden goal for the club, saying: 'It was a great afternoon for us and it’s always nice to get your first goal — although three points was the main thing. The ending was a graft after they got a goal back and we all knew that we had to ride the storm to get the win. 'They were always going to come forward and try to get the second, so we needed to work hard to stop them. We’ve got dangerous players and know there are guys who can produce the goods if we get them the ball.'
