Great performance from the Rss. Solid at the back and contolling in the middle.Upfront we still look a bit bare but Austin did well
We should an dcould have won this more easily but 1-nil will do for now
Can see Zamora playing a influential role comming on late-made a difference
Good to see the crowd and players paying tribute to Ale
Finally sad to see Adel not aknowledge the fans at the end......a poor farewell to this once fine star

For me the difference was Millwall looked as though they know what they were doing, particularly in the final third - neat triangles, one touches, confidence....

We were lightweight in midfield and then over anxious when we pushed forward. Also no-one prepared to run at the defence and shoot a al Tom Ince....

Ranger was good, Miller didn't want to be there. Fonz doesn't work on the wing...

Yeah, first thing I noted-would it kill Morgan to be happy he scored? (Although that first one looked like Pelle got his head to it) I mean, OK he's mad at the club, but the players are his teammates, most of whom he's marched up the leagues with! If nothing else, the more goals, the more money he'll make when he goes to a team with "ambition"- you know, like Sunderland!
Anyway: Beat Sam for a change. Their only goal was a deflection. Pelle hopefully on a roll. Gaston got some playing time. Three important points in the bag. Well done!

Only minor quibble-when the ball comes out of the box, fire it back in! It seems, like last year, that Saints hold it, and allow the opposition to set themselves up. Keep the pressure on them-they'll make mistakes!

This was a performance that was equal or not better than anything seen last season so who needs Fatty Shaw, Self glorified lallana and slimey Lovren or the 'one game' tactic that was the POX. Pelle now looks like he can be the equal of SRL. Tadic plays with more penetration than Lallana and Bertrand puts over better crosses than shaw. RK shows that he has the experience to turn a game around.
This is going to be a good season for the saints.

2nd half rating 10. Morgan would have been 11 but lost possession for their goal
