Man of the match was Wanyama for me - outstanding presence all over the field.

was a close well defended match, experience showed in the end both on and off the field
and looking at Arsenal we can keep a clean sheet there, we can score goals now from all over the pitch.

you would have done well to write this script!! Charlie Austin gave him a 9 purely for presence right place right time ...

Phew! We got away with that one lads. Thank you Fraser you are a Star.

Having said that, serious questions need to be asked about Tadic and Mane - they are just not good enough and it's happening too often. Sell them both in July and get some decent wingers in.

Combination of Fraser in top form and a decent slice of luck. We were disappointing going forwards though. If Charlie had been fit you would fancy he would have put one chance away that Mane and co had.

Shame Austin (injured) wasn't on the bench as I feel he could have nicked a goal, still a good point for us.
Does anyone know how Ronald Koeman got bruising to his face - shooting practice?

toothless up front Saints and therefore let Arse build up the pressure. Fraser had a good game and a good team performance overall. COYR

Happy with a point. Thought the team as a whole played well. Were well organised and looked solid. First half was our better half and you would expect Arsenal to come at us more in the second half. Maybe a few matches back we would have crumbled and lost 3-0 so we are moving in the right direction. Full credit to Forster, great display. Also thought Wanyama, Fonte and Romeu had good matches.

Attacking wise we had no real clear cut chances. Mane I think is lacking a bit of confidence at the moment. and do with being rested for the next game. He's done a lot of running but his finishing has been woeful of late. Tadic for me should be on the bench and come on as a sub. Has maybe a 10-15 spell where he's on the ball in a whole match than he fades out of it completely.

In summary, a good, deserved point if perhaps a little fortunate but it's about time things worked in our favour.

Epic performance from Forster. The first time I have given a 10. If our attack was functioning we could have nicked it. Pelle, Mane both fluffed good chances and Long's backheel when running though was painful!

Arsenal offence was inventive and skillfull as shown by their 10 shots on target but Forster filled the goal. So glad he is a saints player.

7 points from away trips to Arsenal, Man U and Chelsea, Yosh handed Man U the points at St Marys and we pounded Arsenal. I can never remember Saints being this good against the big rich clubs. Long may it last.

Saint Brock... Tadic final ball was delivered before the extinction of the dinosaurs, as for Mane is he sponsored by Robertsons jelly because he sure as hell turns into it in one on one 'easy' situations..it's not just the missed opportunities, far worse it heaps additional pressure on the defence as they never have a cushion to work with, the opposition take heart fromit as well...
