Looks to me like a great finisher. Not sure he will be stretching the defense with his pace, but he seems good in the air and can have a good scrap. Basically looks like a charlie Austin double, which is good, but we still need some with pace if Remy goes. Injuries are a worry, less concerned about his ability, because forwards like Jelavic and him do seem to do well in the premier league. It needs to be done soon though. Like Tony said we should not be waiting around for players, the same goes for Caulker.
I would test Utd hand with Hernandes, he clearly wants out and they are trying to ship people away too. I would use up the majority of our transfer budget to bring him in, a 10-12 million bid would be worth it for someone who would be excellent along side Austin. | |
