I don't see how her being a fan of Mike Tyson means that she cannot have views on whether Evans should play for her club.
An important difference is that Evans was an employee of the club when he committed the offence and has thus dragged the club's name through the mud.
Easy to jump up and down and accuse everyone of being a hypocrite. But the way Evans's supporters/family have acted is disgusting, abusing the victim and attacking everyone who who has a legitimate point of view. He was convicted, he then appealed and lost the appeal. |  | |  |

He didn't lose an appeal,he was denied Leave to Appeal which is entirely different.

the girl was drunk as a skunk was taken to a hotel room to be used as meat between Donald and his mates, the girl was 19 that's still a kid to me and wouldn't of had a clue what was happening , Evans knew the score but couldn't help himself , the bloke is a fcuking wrong un and I hope someone breaks his legs in training, if it were my daughter I would have killed him

I have first hand.experience of.being.a.juror on a case where a verdict was only finally reached because it was Friday afternoon and people wanted to get home and not come back on Monday.

You're thinking of Luke McCormick, who is now captain of Plymouth. He was driving home the morning after a teammate's wedding (David Norris), still pissed, and ran into a car. Killed two kids I believe and crippled the father. Norris did a handcuff sign after scoring his first goal aftèrwards and was suspended. Surely worse than Evans, where the victim wasn't aware of a crime ever having been committed.
Cambridge used to have a player called Mick Norbury who served a sentence for the manslaughter of his girlfriend. Some uncomfortable silences in the dressing room on valentines day. [Post edited 13 Nov 2014 15:57]

It's the atttitude of Evans as much as the act that people are upset about, isn't it. Clearly, what he did was fcking despicable and he rightly got time for it. He got a light sentence and should have come out of jail, apologised to the girl and the fans, stopped his idiot family from slandering the girl, and quietly gone about his business. Then people might be more inclined to forgive.
