I get your point and it's worked out well us playing him to get shot of him, you're 100% correct.
But I also get Clive's point - he's swapped a six-month contract on silly money for a 42-month contract on (presumably) lesser money plus a signing-on fee. I think he's had a good day, so I wouldn't be giving him any credit, all told.

Just need to rely on Cousins, Borysuik, Robinson, Perch, Luongo and Washington 'cos they're never injured and are currently tearing the championship a new arse (one nearly as big as Polters).
With the exception of Hall, Cilla and Pavel, the rest have been utter shite on the odd occasions they have been available.
Still, my faith remains in Holloway to make the changes required. Hope Furlong and Doughty step up and have the quality required. At least they are genuine QPR boys.

Are you his fcking mum or something? Some sort of credit? Not many people would go to Turkey? He's been handed (another) three and a half year contract on the sort of money 99% of people can only dream of to play a sport he's physically incapable of playing - being fit to play very, very poorly indeed for one hour every three games is not fit to play.

I think what was meant by the Turkey comment was Sandro was giving that country a vote of confidence given how much terrorism and unrest there is both in and around it at the moment.
That said, a millionaire footballer going somewhere to play 60 minutes a week for an ocean of cash is very different from having to earn a proper living, with low wages, like most of the locals have to...
How apt that Turkey (or should that be: turkey?) should be mentioned in the same breath as Sandro?
If this deal fails to go through, we are all going to need (even more) counselling!

Have we though? If he didn't put in a transfer request we'd likely have to honour his remaining contract or agree a payout.
Either way, I bet there's some fee involved for him to leave...
They have given him a three and a half year contract? I not sure if he had six or eighteen months left here but whichever he should be financially better off and secure for moving. Hopefully our contribution, if any, was negligible compared to what we would have had to pay him.
Let's hope the stick him in the team and prove he can still 'play', in order to generate interest, hasn't cost us in the long run.
Any way it's 'figging' marvellous news.
