Well no you couldn't because Hull and Sunderland are both in an absolutely dire mess with their owners and finances, and both their squads are in a horrendous state. Middlesbrough have a good owner who's been there for years, are well off and secure financially, have the squad that took them up last time give or take and now have Monk who I rate. | | | |

I heard Leeds new owners are going to be spending big money (although with FFP that means non-refundable donations!) and are poaching top back room people to run the club properly. Monk obviously didn't trust them to deliver better than Middlesborough and they wouldn't pay more so I guess he's just looking after number 1. I was under the impression that any 'donations' to a club do not count in the income calculations and therefore if spent will make you fail with flying colours. Check out QPR for a true demonstration that Sugar Daddy money don't count for sheeeet here... |  |
