QPR fans at the Olympics
at 20:13 29 Jul 2012

Went to the Womens football at Cardiff, guest of a good mate....also a Rangers fan. We were a few seats away from a family with 3 young boys kitted out in the Tango 3rd shirts. Mike went over and asked them where they came from. The answer.......New Zealand. The parents lived in West London and are bringing their kids up in NZ as Rangers fans.
First womans matches I've ever seen live and have to say I was impressed. The Team GB ladies moved the ball about with confidence, from the back, and with a lot more speed than the men.

Sky reporting Rio left out, Terry going to Euros.
at 23:10 15 May 2012

FA hiding behind '...we can't do anything because of the pending court case.' So, in theory, Terry could lift the trophy and a week later be found guilty of raial abuse. If Terry plays I won't be watching or supporting England.

The officials and the Barton incident.
at 22:45 2 Jan 2012

I saw the incident and have now watched the video.
If the officials see a headbutt or other serious incident they should......stop the game, award a free kick and then dish out the punishment.
When Barton 'headbutts' the opponent play continues for quite a while until the referee awards US a free kick for the off the ball kick after Barton has passed the ball. This brings up the following issues.
1) If one of them saw a headbutt why did they not immediately stop the game?
2) The 'tackle' on Barton is, in itself, worth at least a yellow or, judging by what Rooney got in the international, a red card. Yet nothing was issued.
3) The game restarts with a free kick to Norwich where the Barton 'headbutt' took place, yet he had awarded a free kick to us. If Barton hadn't been fouled and continued upfield to score, then could he have been sent off, the goal disallowed and a free kick given at the site of the headbutt?

Whatever way the officials try to explain the episode THEY HAVE C*CKED UP big time.

If the 4th official has had an input and, as a result the referee retrospectively awards Norwich a free kick then he has, in effect, made a decision during the match which is not allowed.

I suspect the lino has said something like...'well I saw the Norwich players head go back....' and, as it was Barton, he has been given a red.

And why did the referee hurry up Kenny with goal kicks twice in the first half AFTER Holt had told him to do so?

I have to agree with others on this board who think that Norwich are the sc*m of the earth.
