Why didn't the ref add on time for the two yellows and one red card that he awarded in the existing five minutes of added time?

Some great lines there Clive - " It was like Alan McDonald, Danny Shittu and Clint Hill, if Alan McDonald, Danny Shittu and Clint Hill had been armed".

And the wasp at a picnic gag, too.

And to think most of the other reports I've read said that it was a poor performance by the Rangers !!

Great report Clive, thanks. Harsh on Archer though, I think. He's done what he was signed to do, and injured himself in the process.
Charlie does look just offside in the footage, although he arrives late into the box. Strange that none of the West Brom players protest, though.

Very good analysis, Clive. Two draws equals only two points, whereas one narrow defeat and one narrow win equals three points!

Swung by the subs, QPR maintain unbeaten start - Report

Thanks for everything, Clive. But player ratings is an interesting subject. I remember Gary Neville - in his pomp for England and Man Utd - delaying a post-match interview while he searched for his match rating in the Manchester Evening News. It means a lot to the players, as well as us.

Nice write-up Clive, but Seny only a 7? He won the points for us, in my opinion - and in Stef's, too, who pushed him towards the Loft crowd to take a bow at the end.

We need to talk about Rob — Report

Clive, I notice you haven't mentioned that the pitchside LED advertising hoardings stopped most of us from seeing what was happening in the first half anyway. Sitting in South Africa, it won't have bothered you as much as the rest of us. Very difficult viewing from the Upper Loft in the first half. Presumably Ellerslie will have had it bad for the whole game. And it must be confusing for the players, too. Imagine trying to pick out a runner on the SAR wing while there's a load of bright illuminated bottles racing past! Can you have a word with someone?

Tanks Clive. I think Chair's yellow card was for time-wasting. Playing head tennis with a supporter when it was our own throw in. A silly booking, really.

How does the Brexit thing work with transfers from another British club, then? Presumably Jordy has got "Settled Status" through having been employed by Hull - but I thought that required five years employment, and he has only been in the UK for four(?) Or has he got a work visa?

I was thinking that Dewsbury-Hall sounded like a stately home, but my laptop wouldn't let me post it on the site without losing the match feed.

And didn't Albert himself feed Willock before receiving the return for his tap-in?

The final countdown - Preview

I find it difficult to keep my concentration when watching the streamed games. Whereas when you're at the ground, the atmosphere and live action keep you focussed on it - even during the boring passages of play. There's always the subs warming up to watch, and players' activities off the ball. And the chants.
I also think the reason non-attendees get so worked up is that they haven't been able to contribute to the action, whereas fans in the crowd have been able to shout and moan and cheer, and actually be part of the event. When you walk out of the ground at full time, you can always say, well, we tried our best and we were unlucky.
