Sean Dyche on Sky now
at 16:52 27 Oct 2014

SD certainly has a quality of infectious enthusiasm about him and asks all to buy into work ethic and team ethic.

In yesterdays game there were stoppages were he had nearly all of the team on the touchline for a quick chat. He took strikers Danny and Jukes to one side for a pep talk and his coach, Tony Loughlan took the others (midfield and wingbacks) for seperate impromptu session.

It didn't make any difference to the outcome. The longer the game went on the more ineffective we were at pressing Everton out of their passing rhythm.

We were just a saved penalty away from a win at Palace in September but admittedly it is a lot tougher now than 5 seasons ago.

Will QPR accept the Adrian Edmondson challenge?
at 09:16 27 Oct 2014

The race to Bottom took another turn when Burnley suffered their 3rd 3-1 home defeat. This jeopardises the Rs tenure as the Premiership whipping boys as a 0-0 against the divisions lowest scorers would be a setback in their quest for this unique and uncovetted Adrian Edmondson Award.

Yesterday at Turf Moor Burnley repeatedly refused to compete in the Tikka Takka preliminaries. This complex, posession based style of play is a well known system for breaking down defensive organisation. Usually this is alternated with mobile set piece wrestling. Again this was another heat in which Burnley failed to make any impact, a clear signal that Burnley are seriously looking at the Adrian Edmondson Challenge for Bottom.

However QPR will not miss out too much, 'Appy 'Arrys laughing stock still remains off the scale.

Redknapp v Adel PART II (Adels side)
at 17:39 22 Oct 2014

Harry has gone way too far with his comments that Taarabt is 3 stone overweight and incapable of performing. 3lbs overweight more likely and possibly a mite under peak physical optimum. But this type of man management is scandalous. It's nothing other than scapegoating.

We live in an era when bosses take for granted the credit which is due to their charges. Hence Harrys comment that he can run quicker than Taarabt. Harry is a victim of his own hubris. He seems to think that portraying or dramatising expectations this way will produce a team response. No this is man management at its worst.

Being fined two weeks wages and being told to settle your differences isn't necessarily the best way for Fernandes to handle Taarabt in this situation. He could quite reasonably claim grounds for a constructive dismissal. Could you work for a boss who attacked you publicly, told lies to the media about your fitness to work?

Unless they pay him off for make a grovelling apology AT has every right to make this into a legal case and I for one think justice would be on his side.

Harry and Adel to Hug it out
at 14:37 22 Oct 2014

I might be playing devils advocate a little bit but if I had a manager who told lies about me to the media I would seriously question if it was feasible to have a working relationship with him!!

If Adel Taarabt wants to claim a case of constructive dismissal then he has got good enough grounds. He should be seeing an employment law solicitor and considering this option. It won't be long before another Premiership or Championship club comes in for him.
